The Rockinghorse’s mega fundraising day ‘Dress yourself as an Elf’ on the 9th December was a huge success. We joined many companies across Sussex to help successfully raise £10,000 towards the Rockinghorse’s year long appeal, ‘Sussex Giving for Sussex Children’.
This is an initiative arising from the Rockinghorse’s 50th anniversary, which aims to raise £500,000 for children’s centres and paediatric services across Sussex. The money will be divided between 10 centres, each receiving £50,000 to improve, refurbish and develop facilities in any way to benefit the children they care for. A client since 1997, Rockinghorse is the official self-funded branch of the Royal Alexandra hospital. They raise money for life-saving, and cutting-edge medical equipment to improve the life of sick babies, children and their families across Sussex.
