Trident supports Brighton-based Rockinghorse, a charity that helps sick children across Sussex. We provide Rockinghorse with free IT services and equipment, and this year, we’re going further.
With continued support from our clients, suppliers, colleagues, and friends, we aim to finance an additional ventilator for Brighton’s Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital. Each ventilator costs £8,000 and helps critically ill children get essential respiratory support without delay.
The ‘Alex’ uses ventilators to treat more than 130 children a year, most aged under three and facing prolonged hospital stays. With ventilator numbers limited, staff often have to prioritise their use
– a problem eased with each new one available.
